AXA Global Distributors Creates 200 new jobs in Ireland over a 3 year period

An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen TD today (31st May, 2010) announced that AXA Global Distributors (Ireland) Limited, a 100% owned subsidiary of AXA, one of the leading insurance companies in the world, is establishing a global life product distribution and servicing subsidiary in Dublin. 200 high value employment positions will be created over the next 3 years.  Recruitment of these positions has already commenced, and it is estimated that 100 of the positions announced today will be filled within the next 12 months.  IDA Ireland worked closely with AXA Group in attracting this investment to Ireland.

AXA Global Distributors is one of the AXA Group’s “Transversal Initiatives” responsible for enhancing wholesale insurance and investment activities through bank and other intermediary sales channels in Europe and Asia.  The business will provide distribution services for Variable Annuities and other investment products and provide back office services to product underwriting entities in the AXA Group, notably for AXA Life Europe. The employment opportunities to be created at the Dublin HQ include positions in Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Telephone Sales, Product Development, Customer Services and Policy Administration.
